UOI Field Trip

Dear Parents,

We had the best time at the Science Centre!

Schedule of the day:
1. 10:30am- Arrival
2. 10:30 to 11:30am- Exploration
3. 11:30- Lunch
4. 12noon- Light and Sound Program
5. 1:30pm- Back to school

Hello Grade 4B!

My name is Ms. T. Arandia and I am very excited to begin a new school year at St. Jude’s Academy. I am a graduate of Niagara University with a background in Early Childhood Studies. I have had the opportunity to teach a variety of age groups in different school settings where I was able to nurture and support well-rounded and competent students. I truly value the importance of developing inquisitive and creative minds where students’ voice is heard and treasured. I hope to be a great addition to the school community and I will ensure that our classroom will uphold to St Jude’s highest standards. Action Definition

Many people think that Action is easy to define. It is something you do, right? But Action is much more than that. Action is a part of who we are. If we want to change the world we need to start with changing ourselves. But sometimes change is hard. How do we make changes to the way we think so we can help the world?

If we want children to make a difference in the world we need to help them personalize the action they take, and understand that it is not just a mandate from their teachers and parents, but a life-long mindset they develop.

Taking action can happen at any age. It’s all about how we as parents, educators, and the community, support children and youth as they begin the learning journey towards becoming adults that are change agents!
