Students participated in the World Kindness Day which the Oakwood Academy are hosting. Each students was given a handprint cut-out which the students needed to design and write kind words on it. Next, the students were given a popsicle stick to write one kind word on it to a special person they had in mind, and the teacher used a glue gun to stick tiny rocks on the popsicle stick to show "Words that Rock!"Lastly, the students were given a small bottle with a roll of coloured paper inside which they needed to write the reason on why that special person was either funny, loving, kind... etc. The students were then asked to give this 'message in a bottle' to the person that they thought of.
HAPPY WORLD KINDNESS DAY!
