Day 3!

Hello SJA Parents,

Math:
We went over the homework assignment from the weekend and we reviewed together as a class how to do long division. The students were given in-class time to work on more long division questions and were given opportunities to ask questions that they may have regarding the concept.

Remember: place your numbers in the proper place value.
Follow the long division process:
Divide
Multiply
Subtract

Bring Down

UOI:
Students continued to present their summative task projects in class. They then had to reflect on what they've learned and to explain how they were knowledgeable throughout the unit. Please see presentations below:




We will begin a new Unit of Inquiry tomorrow on Light and Sound.

Language:
Students will work on Lesson 5 spelling words. The entire class period will be dedicated to the students using this time to begin their spelling word lists and to familiarize themselves with the patterns of the word sounds. The students will need to hand in their completed Lesson 5 words by Wednesday.
