Day 2!

Hello SJA Parents,

Math:
We spent some time in class to making corrections of the questions for homework. The students had the opportunity to ask questions, clarify their wonderings and mark their own work. We then moved on to a new lesson on using standard algorithm of diving 4-digit numbers by 1-digit numbers and using the long division strategy to find the quotient. Please see the anchor chart below and help your child review the math questions for homework by showing their work.

Quotient- the number produced by the division of two numbers. Division is the opposite of multiplication.
